With the heaviest of hearts and deepest respect, the Center for Medicare
Advocacy mourns the loss of our dear friend and colleague, Rebecca Faith Ganci.
Rebecca died on February 13, 2006; she lived her 36 years with the greatest of
zest, compassion and resilience. She joined the Center as a paralegal in 1998
and served her clients as a supreme professional who took tremendous pride in
her work. No one cared more about spreading justice and providing advocacy for
people who would otherwise go without help obtaining necessary healthcare.
Though she struggled courageously with mental illness for many years, Rebecca
was deeply involved in all that life had to offer: work, fun, family, friends,
Judaism, volunteer activities, calligraphy, and jogging. Rebecca was a
devoted mother, loving wife, and dear friend. She adored her two little
boys, her husband, and their chocolate Labrador.
Rebecca is sorely missed by all at, and associated with, the Center for
Medicare Advocacy. |
